abducted chapter 3

The next afternoon, the brothers tiredly made their way to evershade valley to talk to professor Elvin Gadd, "Mario, I don't think Elvin will know anything about these creatures. All he ever does is talk about ghosts..." Luigi yawned, "I know that, but maybe he knows someone who does..." Mario suggested as they Came up to E.Gadd's vault, Mario knocked on the big heavy door and it opened. "well hello boys! Didn't expect company!" E.Gadd chuckled, "sorry professor but we need to talk to you about something serious" Mario sighed as E.Gadd grunted and led them into the bunker, he sat down in his seat and looked at the brothers worryingly, "well?" he sighed, "I-I think you should explain Weege..." Mario smiled to his brother, Luigi took a deep breathe before speaking. He told the old professor everything that had happened from the start to the end, and was sobbing and trembling when he finished the story.  "a-and I'm finding It hard to sleep at night, b-because I'm so scared of t-those things!" Luigi burst out into tears as Mario hugged him tightly, "it's okay little bro, we'll get rid of them..." Mario whispered softly as Luigi whimpered in his arms, "a lot of people have told me about these 'alien like' creatures, and soon after telling me, those victims do...eventually...get...abducted..." E.Gadd gave a nervous laugh as the brothers stared at him in shock, Luigi burst out in tears and squeezed All the air out of Mario who looked like he was about to have a heart attack. "w-why will they take him away?" Mario trembled, "well, it's normally the people who have power sources with an electric energy. one time I remember watching king boo battle with them, but he won. Does Luigi have any strange power sources with any sort of electric?" E.Gadd asked with concern, Mario looked down at his brother who was whimpering in his arms and sighed. "yes, he does have a strange power source, he can shoot thunder through his hands." Mario sighed again while stroking Luigi's hair making him feel a bit sleepy, "that's probably why then..." E.Gadd grunted.
"but why do they scratch him and make him bleed?"
"their testing his blood..."
"what for?"
"I don't know! Ask them!" E.Gadd sighed heavily, Mario stared down to Luigi who had calmed down and was lying peacefully in his arms. "if...
if they did take him away, would they bring him back?" Mario trembled as he tightened his grip onto Luigi, "no, he'd be dead. If you take someone's power away it kills them, and it also makes their hair go white. Don't know why though," Egadd muttered.
"but, we c-could fight back! Right?" Mario questioned, his voice was filled with worry, "you could try, but more and more of them will keep coming...king boo is the only one who escaped...ever!" Egadd sighed, "and my calculations tell me that Luigi will probably be taken away sometime this week or maybe next week..." Mario gasped as Luigi stiffened in his arms, "I DON'T WANNA DIE!!!" he yelped as he clung onto Mario tightly, "shhh, it's okay, they wont take you away." Mario gently rocked him back and forth "and even if they did me and Elvin would save you...right, Elvin?" Mario looked up at professor E.Gadd hopefully, Luigi had helped him capture ghosts and has always respected him and now it was time to return the favour.
" sure..." E.Gadd smiled, "Mario, could I speak to you in private please?" E.Gadd smiled, Luigi let go of Mario as E.Gadd led him into a different room, "right, if we Want to keep Luigi safe From those aliens, you'll need to bored up all the windows and doors, get some weapons such as a shot gun or a baseball bat and make sure you stay together!" E.Gadd muttered "because if you don't, they will  kill him! but I'll need you two to go home now because I've got something else to do..." E.Gadd smiled to Mario who was nodding, they walked back into the main part of the bunker where they had left Luigi who was now playing a game of cards with a friendly greenie. "come on, little bro." Mario smiled while placing a hand on Luigi's shoulder, "can't we finish the game? we just started!"  the greenie snapped, "no, me and Luigi have a lot of work to do!" Mario snapped back, Luigi sat in silence between the two glaring at each other. After a few seconds past he stood up and opened the door and walked out calmly, leaving Mario, professor E.Gadd and the friendly greenie in an awkward silence. "well...see ya later folks!" Mario laughed nervously as he chased after his brother, "okay... What's wrong?" Mario sighed after catching up with his brother, Luigi stared at his feet not wanting to talk.  "I'm scared..." he muttered quietly, Mario stared at his brother for a moment and sighed. " I am too... But we'll get through this...right?" Mario smiled,
"WHA-!? Mario! didn't you hear what Elvin just said!?" Luigi snapped "those aliens are going to take me away and kill me, and nobody could stop them!"
"don't say that! We're the super Mario brothers! Of coarse we can stop them!" Mario argued back, "Mario, just because we were given the name 'super Mario bro's' doesn't mean we can defeat a bunch of aliens who are much stronger than us!" Luigi muttered angrily as he stormed off. "bro..." Mario sighed as Luigi stopped and looked back to him, "we could try..." he smiled, Luigi sighed as he stared at the ground sadly "yeah, I  guess..." he smiled back to Mario who was walking up to him, Mario placed a hand on his brothers shoulder and smiled, "come on then, lets go home..."
